Westlake Academy is located in the tranquility of Westlake, Texas. The town of Westlake owns and operates it, a prestigious and innovative school that offers all three programs of the rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum - Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and the Diploma Programme. The International Baccalaureate Organization in Geneva, Switzerland and the IBNA authorizes the Diploma Programme. Westlake Academy has continued to maintain the rating of Exemplary, which is awarded by the Texas Education Agency.
